 2011 - 2012
With the support of our many contributors, the students enjoyed some meaningful and fun enrichment programs. Landmark Partners provided a wonderful opportunity for our young men with a job shadowing day at their offices. The students also attended a team-building camping trip and ropes course to start off the year. They went to an art exhibit at Wesleyan University, attended a play at Theater Works in Hartford, skied at Ski Sundown in New Hartford, and visited the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield. With the funds from a generous endowment donated a few years ago, supplemented by money from a car wash that the guys held, the guys went to Washington D.C. over Memorial Day weekend.
